RMR Products — Services

Real experience.
Practical advice.

We consult on AI implementation and software development based on what we've actually built — real systems, real production decisions.

AI & Development Consulting

Hands-on guidance for teams building with AI.

Advisory engagements for startups and software companies navigating AI coding agents, AI-embedded SaaS, and the processes that make both work.

Custom Software Builds

We build it with you — or for you.

End-to-end product development for companies that need a strong technical partner.

How we work

Three offerings.
One point of view.

We build proprietary products, take on select custom builds, and consult on software implementation. Each reinforces the others — by design.

“Our products are the work.
Everything else keeps us honest.”

01

Proprietary Products

Software built from first principles — owned, opinionated, and shaped by deep research.

03

Advisory & Consulting

Implementation guidance grounded in what we actually build — not theory.

02

Custom Builds

Select engagements that surface real-world constraints — and sharpen how we build for ourselves.

The loop closes

Every engagement feeds back into the products. What we learn, we build. What we build, we teach.

AI & Development Consulting

We've built it. Now we can help you build it.

Our consulting practice is built on direct experience — building production SaaS with AI coding agents, embedding LLMs into live systems, and running the full software development lifecycle. Everything we advise on, we've built ourselves first.

AI Coding Agents

Building with agents, not just alongside them.

Practical experience running AI coding agents in real production workflows — from architecture to daily development. We advise on how to structure the work, where agents add genuine leverage, and where human judgment still has to lead.

  • Agent training and prompting for your specific codebase
  • Maintaining living documentation that agents can actually use
  • Producing reliable work estimates in AI-assisted workflows
  • Environment setup: tooling, context management, review loops

AI in SaaS Products

AI that fits the system — not the other way around.

Deep experience embedding LLMs into production SaaS applications. We advise on architecture, interaction design, and the invisible decisions that determine whether AI in a product feels genuinely useful or just bolted on.

  • Where AI creates real value vs. where it adds noise
  • System and LLM design that complement rather than compete
  • Interaction patterns that keep the user in control
  • When to build vs. integrate, and how to evaluate the difference

How we think about it

Systems and LLMs have to coexist — and the best implementations are ones where they actively complement each other. The system provides structure, memory, and determinism. The LLM provides flexibility, synthesis, and language. Get the boundary wrong and you get an AI that undermines the product. Get it right and the product gets measurably smarter without getting less reliable.

Custom Software Builds

Built right from the start.

We take on custom software build engagements for companies that need a genuine technical partner — someone in the work with you, not just executing a spec. We work the way we build our own products: research first, strong thesis before anything is designed, shipped when it's right.

Engagements are scoped carefully. We're not trying to maximize billable hours — we're trying to build something that actually works for the people who use it.

What's included

  • First-principles discovery
  • Technical architecture and scoping
  • Full-stack development
  • AI integration where it adds genuine value
  • Documentation and handoff

Who we work with

Startups to small-to-mid-sized software companies.

Our consulting practice is built for teams that are moving fast and making real decisions. We work best with founders, CTOs, and product leaders at software companies who want direct access to the people doing the work.

We keep our consulting work intentionally limited. We're a small team building our own products — services engagements are selective by design.

If you're working on something that fits, reach out. We'll have a direct conversation about whether it makes sense.
